We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
**Registered Nurse \- Endoscopy**
to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred nursing care throughout the endoscopic care pathway. The role is responsible for delivering safe and evidence‑based nursing practice in alignment with DOH/DHA regulations and organizational policies. The successful candidate will support endoscopic procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety, and work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide comprehensive peri‑procedural nursing care, including patient preparation, intra‑procedural support, and post‑procedure recovery and monitoring.
* Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques, patient safety, and infection control protocols.
* Prepare, check, and manage endoscopy instruments, equipment, and consumables, ensuring proper functionality and availability.
* Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, clinical condition, and response to sedation throughout procedures.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and update the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in accordance with standards.
* Coordinate effectively with anesthesiology, physicians, recovery staff, and support services to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient flow.
* Participate in infection prevention, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives, including audits and continuous improvement activities.
* Support patient and family education, providing information on procedures, aftercare, and follow‑up requirements.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
* Valid DOH/DHA/MOH license or DOH eligibility.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Endoscopy, with Operating Theatre experience preferred.
* BLS and ACLS certification required.
