Responsibilities Job Description
- Provide expert legal advice on employment law issues, including workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage disputes.
- Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and case law to support client cases.
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently when possible.
- Represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings as necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in employment law to provide accurate guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals and network to build clientele.
Requirements
- Must be licensed by the LSO.
- Must have three or more years of employment law experience.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research tools.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
