Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Harness Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS), harness design, and schematic development for automotive and/or aerospace applications. You will be responsible for designing, validating, and supporting electrical systems from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical harness systems, including routing, installation, and integration
  • Create and maintain detailed

2D/3D drawings, schematics, and formboards

  • Develop and validate

circuit diagrams, wire lists, and harness documentation

  • Work with tools such as

CATIA V5, Capital Harness, Saber, and Teamcenter

  • Support prototype builds and provide technical assistance on the assembly line
  • Ensure compliance with

EMC requirements and industry standards

  • Design special harness protections for critical environments (e.g. fuel, engine, hydraulic areas)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership when required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and product development initiatives

Qualifications \& Requirements

  • Degree in

Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field

(or equivalent experience)

  • Proven experience in

electrical harness design

within automotive, aerospace, or similar industries

  • Strong proficiency in:
  • CATIA V5 Electrical
  • Harness design \& EWIS
  • Schematics and circuit diagram tools (e.g., Saber, Capital Harness)
  • Experience with

PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter, Kola)

  • Knowledge of

manufacturing processes and prototype validation

  • Familiarity with

EMC requirements and electrical system standards

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in international teams
  • Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in truck or aircraft electrical systems
  • Background in

Lean Manufacturing or project management

  • Prior experience leading small technical teams
