**District Sales Manager \- Ontario, Canada**

**This is a Remote position to be based in Greater Toronto, Hamilton, Kitchener\-Waterloo and surrounding areas.**
The District Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activities, assessing customer needs and conducting proactive outreach to enhance customer relationships and drive sales growth
**Main Tasks**
* Sales Leadership: Manage and grow sales within your district, meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas and financial objectives.
* Account Development: Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships.
* Customer Engagement:
+ Participate in business reviews and planning sessions with customers.
+ Conduct sales training, customer meetings, and fleet surveys.
+ Provide prompt, professional resolution to customer issues, maintaining high customer service standards.
* Market Analysis:
+ Evaluate market trends, competitive information, and industry challenges to identify growth opportunities.
+ Develop insights into market and customer trends affecting sales and profitability.
* Reporting and Record Management:
+ Maintain accurate records and communications, including company CRM, required business forms, reports, and email correspondence.
+ Analyze and manage fleet reporting to align with company policies.
* Operational Support: Participate in customer inventories, changeovers, and inventory relocations as needed.
* Travel Requirements: Extensive daily travel within your district, with occasional overnight travel. A company car will be provided for local/regional business use.
**Qualifications**
**REQUIREMENTS:**
**Education:**
Bachelor’s degree, business, or technical diploma
**Experience:**
* 5\+ years of successful relevant sales experience
**Required Skills**
:
* Must be able to achieve sales goals while using sound business management, customer management, building customer relationships, negotiation, sales planning and problem\-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
* Ability to conduct product training and implement new ideas
* Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
* Up to 65% travel (Domestic/Regional)
* Valid Ontario provincial driver’s license in good standing
**Preferred Experience:**
* Salesforce or other CRM experience
* Automotive aftermarket, heavy\-duty, industrial, off\-road equipment, or related industries.
