**Director of Sales – Hotel \& Spa \| Calgary, Alberta** *Confidential Search \| Retained by Global Hospitality Search Consultants* **The Opportunity** A thriving, fast\-growing Calgary hospitality property is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven **Director of Sales** to join its leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior, high\-impact role at a property that is scaling quickly — and to put your fingerprints on the sales function from the ground up. If you're a hospitality sales leader who is equally comfortable closing a corporate account, coaching a group sales team, and sitting at the table with Revenue Management and Operations — this role was built for you. **What You'll Do** You'll own the full commercial sales mandate across both **B2C and B2B** , with accountability for driving occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, spa utilization, dining demand, and ancillary revenue. Specifically, you will: * Lead, develop, and inspire a group sales team, setting the culture and performance standards * Build and diversify new demand channels across corporate, leisure, group, and wholesale segments * Partner closely with Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations to align strategy with results * Design and implement scalable sales systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure * Serve as a key member of the property's senior leadership team, contributing to broader business strategy **What You Bring** * Proven track record in a senior hotel sales leadership role — ideally with spa or resort experience * Strong command of hotel commercial metrics: ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy, and beyond * A builder's mindset — you've created sales functions, not just managed them * Exceptional relationship\-building skills across both corporate and leisure markets * Based in or willing to relocate to Calgary **The Package** * **$125,000 – $150,000 base salary** * Profit sharing * Full benefits * Company perks * **Hybrid work model available** *This search is being conducted on a confidential basis.
