DevOPS/Cloud Engineer

Russell Tobin \& Associates is hiring on behalf of one of its esteemed clients. **Job Title:** DevOPS/Cloud Engineer \- Senior **Location:** Toronto, ON (On\-Site) **Duration:** 254 Days (with possible extension) **Client:** Public Sector  **Pay Rate:** C$80\-85/hr **Must have:** * Demonstrated 7\+ years of experience in design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large complex CRM systems such as Dynamics or other COTS CRM systems. * 7\+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions. * Proven experience designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures. * Hands\-on experience delivering cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives. * Experience developing architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and solution design documents. * Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure including compute, networking, storage, and identity management. * Hands\-on experience with n\-tier web\-based applications, Unix/Linux environments, Shell scripting, Ant script, JavaScript, XML/XSD, XSL, HTML5, and version control tools (Subversion/CVS). * Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or similar tools. * Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE). * Experience with cloud security architecture, zero\-trust principles, RBAC, encryption, and monitoring. **Role and Responsibilities:** * Assess frameworks, platforms, and technology stacks to design and implement scalable cloud\-based solutions. * Design, build, and support secure and resilient cloud environments for digital applications. * Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and deployment of cloud\-based systems. * Monitor and optimize application performance in cloud environments to ensure reliability and stability. * Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues. * Implement safeguards to ensure data integrity and protection against unauthorized access. * Design and implement containerized solutions and manage orchestration platforms for application deployment and scaling. * Collaborate with architects, developers, security teams, and operations to deliver integrated solutions. * Develop technical documentation including architecture designs, solution blueprints, and operational procedures. * Support production environments and ongoing operational activities. * Participate in Agile/DevOps delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. * Present technical solutions and architecture to stakeholders, including senior leadership and non\-technical audiences.
