DevOps / Sec DevOps Engineer with Middleware

**Overview** We are seeking a DevOps / SecDevOps Engineer to support a **mission\-critical middleware platform** used by 120\+ internal applications across Digital Banking, Consumer Lending, and Brokerage. This platform powers **high\-volume, real\-time financial transactions** , including account services, authentication, and money movement. The role focuses on **automation, platform reliability, security integration, and cloud\-native deployments** in a highly regulated environment. **Key Responsibilities** **DevOps \& Automation** * Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices\-based applications * Automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments * Improve release efficiency while maintaining compliance and audit standards **Platform Engineering \& Kubernetes** * Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift * Support and optimize container orchestration, scaling, and availability * Implement Infrastructure\-as\-Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools **Security (DevSecOps)** * Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA) * Enforce secure coding and deployment standards * Support container and runtime security practices in regulated environments **Monitoring, Reliability \& Performance** * Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Splunk * Ensure system reliability for applications handling millions of transactions daily * Perform performance tuning, load testing, and incident troubleshooting **Collaboration \& SDLC** * Work within Agile teams using Jira and Confluence * Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams across the full SDLC * Document architecture, processes, and operational runbooks **Required Qualifications** * 6\+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering * Strong hands\-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments * Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) * Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA) * Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana) * Strong troubleshooting skills in high\-availability, production environments **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Java / Spring Boot\-based microservices environments * Background in financial services or regulated industries * Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure\-as\-Code tools * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments) * Exposure to high\-throughput, low\-latency systems Skills: automation,kubernetes,cloud,security,pipelines,reliability,devops,cd,ci,availability
