DevOps Engineer

**This role is for one of the Weekday's clients** Min Experience: 4 years Location: Chandigarh, Mohali, Punjab JobType: full\-time We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 4\+ years of experience to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure with strong ownership of CI/CD, containerized workloads, and infrastructure as code. The role requires deep hands\-on expertise and a production\-first mindset. **Requirements** **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions across various environments such as development, staging, and production * Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications on AWS ECS, utilizing Fargate and/or EC2 instances * Provision, update, and oversee AWS infrastructure through CloudFormation, including managing templates, stacks, and stack sets * Take ownership of deployment automation, release planning, rollback procedures, and ensure deployments achieve zero or minimal downtime * Monitor, diagnose, and optimize AWS workloads to enhance performance, reliability, availability, and cost\-efficiency * Implement and uphold security best practices covering IAM, networking, secrets management, and CI/CD pipelines * Collaborate closely with application engineering teams to refine build, deployment, and operational processes * Participate actively in incident response, conducting root cause analyses, and preparing post\-mortem reports * Maintain comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and operational guidelines **Required Skills \& Qualifications:** * Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles * Extensive production experience with AWS services including: ○ ECS, ECR, EC2 ○ VPC, Security Groups, ALB/NLB ○ S3, RDS ○ IAM, CloudWatch * Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions, including creating reusable workflows and managing environment\-specific deployments * Strong proficiency in Docker and containerization best practices * Hands\-on experience with CloudFormation for provisioning and managing infrastructure lifecycle * Solid understanding of networking principles, load balancing techniques, and AWS security fundamentals * Experience working with Linux operating systems and shell scripting * Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems within AWS environments * Excellent troubleshooting abilities focused on maintaining production stability **Must\-have Skills** AWS DOCKER DevOps **Preferred Skills** Docker
