Job Summary We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software development and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, enabling seamless integration and delivery of software solutions. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance our deployment processes and ensure high availability and performance of our applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement and maintain containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in the deployment and operation of applications.
- Document processes and create training materials for team members.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience in DevOps practices and tools.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database management and optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in DevOps or cloud technologies are a plus.
