What you will do: * Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure on **AWS** * Build smart, secure **CI/CD pipelines** with GitHub Actions * Ensure our platform delivers **99\.9%\+ uptime** with built\-in security and compliance * Implement **monitoring and observability** systems with tools like Prometheus and Grafana * Support zero\-downtime deployments, secure data practices, and best\-in\-class performance * Collaborate closely with dev teams to streamline releases, solve problems, and continuously improve developer experience * Help ensure compliance with **HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001** , keeping patient data safe and trusted **Meet the team** You'll be joining the Platform Team, one of three engineering teams at Trialbee. The Platform Team is a small, focused group — currently two full\-time engineers — led by Carl Wolff. You'd be joining as the team's third engineer, which means real ownership, close collaboration, and a genuine opportunity to shape how the team grows and works. What matters is that you're **curious, hands\-on, and genuinely excited about cloud\-native technology** — and that you've gone reasonably deep on at least a few of these areas: * **AWS services** — EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, and more * **Infrastructure\-as\-Code** — Terraform * **CI/CD pipelines** — GitHub Actions * **Containers \& orchestration** — Docker and Kubernetes * **Monitoring \& observability** — Grafana, Prometheus and OpenTelemetry * **Automation \& scripting** — Bash and Python * **Software Development** — JavaScript/TypeScript (and/or Go) We understand that you might have been using other languages/tools but we want to you to know what you will be working with at Trialbee.
