Job Description
**DevOps Engineer (Azure)**
**Contract £500 \- £600 insideIR35**
**London \- Hybrid / Flexible Working**

We are supporting a major organisation embarking on the development of a new mobile application capability and are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to play a key role in building the engineering platform that will underpin the programme. Working as part of a newly formed mobile application development team, you will help establish the cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment pipelines and operational tooling required to deliver secure, scalable and high\-performing customer\-facing mobile applications.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure supporting mobile and digital applications.
* Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software delivery.
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation best practices across development and production environments.
* Support mobile application development teams with deployment, release management and platform tooling.
* Build monitoring, alerting and observability capabilities to ensure platform reliability and performance.
* Collaborate with front\-end, back\-end and mobile engineers to create a scalable and resilient engineering ecosystem.
* Drive continuous improvement across DevOps processes, cloud operations and security practices.
**Required Skills \& Experience**
* Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Azure.
* Proven expertise building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
* Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and containerised environments.
* Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
* Good understanding of cloud security, networking and operational best practices.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and problem\-solving skills.
**Desirable**
* Experience supporting mobile application development teams.
* Experience delivering customer\-facing digital products at scale.
* Knowledge of Agile delivery environments.
* Exposure to SRE, platform engineering or cloud\-native architectures.
