DevOps Engineer

**This is 12 months contract** **About the Role and Job:** **Position** : DevOps Engineer \- AEM **Location** : Toronto **Mode of Work :** Hybrid (3 days a week) This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire a DevOps Engineer who has expertise/experience working in AEM Cloud Manager. **Summary:** We are looking for a DevOps Engineer supporting Client’s Digital Commerce team, who will own the CI/CD pipelines, environment strategy, release automation, and deployment controls for AEM as a Cloud Service and related Adobe Marketing technology components. You will play a critical role in ensuring Client’s digital platform is delivered safely, repeatably, and at the pace of a world\-class engineering organization with governance standards expected of a leading financial institution. **Roles \& Responsibilities:** * Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Adobe Cloud Manager; govern deployment workflows across development, staging, and production environments * Automate build, test and deployment workflows; enforce version\-controlled, repeatable, and auditable infrastructure deployments aligned to enterprise security and change management standards * Manage secrets, certificates, environment configuration, content backups, and restore procedures for AEM as a Cloud Service environments * Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and security teams on release readiness, go\-live controls, incident prevention, and operational monitoring * Define and promote DevOps best practices, developer tooling standards, and continuous delivery improvements for the digital platform squad * Support environment provisioning, capacity management, scaling strategies, and platform uptime obligations * Ensure all pipeline activities comply with governing regulations, internal security policies, and audit requirements **Qualifications \& Skills :** * 5\+ years in DevOps or platform engineering with hands\-on experience in CI/CD tools, Git\-based branching, scripting (Bash, Python, or similar), and cloud operations * Experience operating AEM as a Cloud Service via Adobe Cloud Manager or equivalent enterprise CMS cloud delivery tooling * Proficiency with infrastructure\-as\-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent) and containerized workload management * Strong understanding of cloud environments (GCP, AWS or Azure), deployment governance, and auditable release processes * Familiarity with Adobe Cloud Manager pipeline structure, environment types, and Adobe\-specific deployment constraints * Experience with monitoring and observability tooling for cloud\-hosted web platforms * Background delivering in regulated financial services or enterprise environments with strict change management processes
