This pivotal role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud\-based systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing engineering teams, a strong background in cloud infrastructure—preferably AWS—and a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices. As a strategic leader, you will foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and collaboration, working closely with engineering leadership to align technical initiatives with business goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the adoption of infrastructure\-as\-code, optimizing cloud costs, and enhancing our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to ensure our platform remains robust and reliable for thousands of users worldwide. **Qualifications** * Minimum of 3\+ years managing engineering teams, with a proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top technical talent. * Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure, with a preference for experience in AWS. * Hands\-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar platforms. * Deep understanding of SRE principles, including incident management, SLOs/SLIs, postmortem analysis, and remediation strategies. * Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non\-technical stakeholders. * Ability to manage competing priorities effectively within a fast\-paced SaaS environment. * Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS. * Familiarity with infrastructure\-as\-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi. * Background in Tier 3 or platform support escalation functions is preferred. * Experience scaling DevOps practices across multiple engineering teams is a plus. **Responsibilities** * Manage, coach, and develop a team of DevOps and platform engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Establish clear goals and priorities for the team, shielding them from unnecessary noise while maintaining visibility with stakeholders. * Partner with engineering leadership on headcount planning, organizational design, and cross\-team initiatives to support company growth. * Own the design, reliability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security standards. * Drive the adoption of infrastructure\-as\-code practices and optimize cloud costs through continuous monitoring and improvements. * Lead incident response efforts, conduct postmortems, and implement remediation strategies to prevent recurrence of issues. * Maintain and evolve Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including on\-call rotations, alerting systems, and runbooks. * Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and safe software deployment cycles. * Collaborate with engineering teams to reduce build times, improve test coverage, and eliminate deployment friction points. * Define and enforce release processes, branching strategies, and environment promotion standards to streamline development workflows. * Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, especially during critical support escalations. * Partner with product and engineering teams to analyze recurring support issues and translate insights into platform improvements. **Benefits** * We believe in taking care of our people, providing a highly competitive compensation package. * Robust paid time off (PTO) to promote work\-life balance and personal well\-being. * Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and other wellness programs. * Generous 401(k) contribution to support your long\-term financial planning. * Engaging company events and team\-building activities that foster a collaborative environment. * Opportunities for career growth within a dynamic and purpose\-driven organization. * Relocation assistance for candidates joining from outside the local area.
