Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a DevOps Engineer. The responsibilities include implementing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC), building and configuring continuous integration pipelines, and maintaining high system availability. The individual will also engage in system administration tasks, troubleshoot Linux servers, and collaborate with development teams to optimize software deployment and performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
- Background in Software Development and deployment automation
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) processes and tools
- Strong skills in System Administration, including server configuration and maintenance
- Proficiency in Linux, including scripting, troubleshooting, and security
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience in a higher education or public policy environment is a plus
