DevOps Engineer

**JOB TITLE: DEVOPS ENGINEER \- AI ENABLEMENT \& PLATFORM OPERATIONS** **CONTRACT: 6 MONTHS WITH POTENTIAL TO EXTEND, LONGER TERM PROJECT** **Hybrid 3 days/week in Toronto office** **Rate: $60\-55/hr On INC** **Role: DevOps Engineer – AI Enablement \& Platform Operations** The role requires strong hands\-on experience with GitHub ecosystems, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Rovo AI), CI/CD pipelines, and modern AI\-powered developer tools, combined with the ability to coordinate with CIO teams to drive enterprise\-scale AI adoption. **Key Responsibilities** ***AI Tooling Enablement \& Operations*** · Act as the primary technical point of contact for CIO project teams · Support POC execution, evaluation, and production rollout of AI features · Develop and maintain SOPs, FAQs, onboarding guides, and best\-practice documentation for AI tool adoption · Coordinate vendor\-led and internal training sessions · Track adoption metrics, usage patterns, and support volumes; produce executive\-ready dashboards and insights · Stay current on AI tooling releases, evaluate new features, and communicate operational impact, limitations, and enterprise readiness · Create and manage ServiceNow tickets including change requests, support tasks, request workflows, and intake dashboards · Maintain Jira and Confluence as the system of record for documentation, approvals, POC/pilot tracking, and decision logs · Ensure all intake and enablement activities for all new AI features align with enterprise standards, security reviews, Responsible AI policies, and compliance requirements · Experience with enterprise\-scale AI tool rollouts (POC, pilots through production enablement) **Required Skills \& Experience** · Strong understanding of Dev SecOps, CI/CD pipelines practices · Deep experience with the GitHub ecosystem (including GitHub Actions, workflows, etc) · Strong hands\-on experience with the Atlassian platform: Jira (project/board configuration, automation rules, JQL), Confluence (spaces, templates, macros), and Rovo AI capabilities · Demonstrated hands\-on experience using AI\-powered developer tools (GitHub Copilot) · Familiarity with Responsible AI principles · Working knowledge of developer tooling ecosystems (VS Code, Visual Studio \& JetBrains IDEs) · Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and AI agents · Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to track adoption, usage, support metrics, and operational KPIs · Solid experience with ServiceNow: change requests, request workflows, support tasks, dashboards, and reporting · Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and REST API integrations · Strong written communication skills — ability to produce intake summaries, SOPs, training materials, and executive\-ready documentation · Excellent stakeholder coordination skills
