**DevOps Engineer** **Start:** ASAP **Rate:** £300/day Outside IR35 **Work Model:** UK/EU Fully Remote **Role Overview** Seeking a DevOps Engineer to improve CI/CD workflows, automate environment creation, and support secure, reliable deployments across QA, staging, and production. **Key Responsibilities** * Deploy and configure modern web applications on containerised infrastructure. * Build dynamic QA environments with automated provisioning and teardown of DBs, storage, and configs. * Define release, promotion, rollback, and migration processes. * Manage database and object storage resources. * Maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using scripting tools. * Contribute to architecture discussions and support development teams. * Communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Requirements** * 5\+ years in DevOps/SRE or similar. * Strong cloud knowledge (AWS or GCP). * Experience building CI/CD pipelines. * Understanding of containerised deployments and multi‑environment setups. * Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible). * Strong scripting skills (shell, Python). * Knowledge of cloud security best practices. * Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. * Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
