Job Title : DevOps (CI/CD) Automation Specialist
Location : Calgary, Canada
Duration :6+Months (Long term )
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on CI/CD Automation Specialist to join our team and support enterprise infrastructure and remediation programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong DevOps, Linux, and automation experience, with a focus on building and maintaining CI/CD automation workflows. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including platform, security, and remediation, to ensure seamless deployment and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support CI/CD automation workflows to enhance deployment processes.
- Manage and support package deployment activities across RHEL 7 to RHEL 9 environments.
- Collaborate with platform, security, and remediation teams to ensure compliance and security best practices.
- Implement and maintain automation scripts using shell scripting and other automation tools.
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes for application deployment.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Document processes, workflows, and best practices for CI/CD automation.
Mandatory Skills :
- Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience in Linux administration, particularly with RHEL.
- Expertise in shell scripting and automation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Knowledge of RPM packaging and deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
