Job Description
**Overview**
Our client, a well\-known sports and media organization is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support high\-traffic, consumer\-facing web and mobile platforms used by millions of users. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, CI/CD, and quality, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and modern DevOps practices.
You’ll be part of a centralized DevOps function that partners closely with Consumer Engineering, QA, and SDET teams to support continuous delivery across web and mobile applications. The environment is cloud\-native, Kubernetes\-based, and built to support live events, peak traffic moments, and always\-on digital experiences.
This is a hands\-on role for someone who enjoys owning pipelines, solving production issues, and improving developer workflows while helping modernize DevOps processes across the organization.
**Responsibilities**
* Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web and mobile applications
* Support and operate Kubernetes environments running server\-side services
* Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline and deployment issues
* Partner with SDET and QA teams to integrate automated test cases into pipelines
* Support developer tooling and deployment workflows
* Help modernize DevOps processes and infrastructure
* Work within a hybrid cloud environment (AWS primary, Azure for disaster recovery)
* Support high\-availability, consumer\-facing platforms
**Qualifications**
* 3\+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering
* Strong hands\-on experience with AWS
* Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments
* Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
* Experience supporting web and mobile applications
* Familiarity with GitHub or similar source control platforms
* Experience working in fast\-paced, production environments
* Hands on experience working with GitOps using ArgoCD, Kargo, or Flux
**Nice to Have**
* Experience with Akamai (Property Manager or CDN configuration)
* Experience with New Relic or other observability tools
* Background supporting media, streaming, or consumer\-facing platforms
