Role- DevOps Engineer
Long Term Contract
Hybrid from Newbury, UK office
Rate- 400 GBP per day (Inside/outside IR 35 both)
AWS and Azure Cloud Engineer \& DevOps Engineer to support large-scale cloud transformation and containerization initiatives. The role will focus on migrating applications from on-premises/VM-based environments to Kubernetes platforms (EKS/AKS), designing scalable cloud infrastructure, and implementing robust DevOps pipelines and automation using Infrastructure as Code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage Kubernetes clusters on
AWS EKS and Azure AKS
.
- Lead migration of applications from
on-premises and VM-based environments to containerized platforms
.
- Define and implement
end-to-end Kubernetes architecture
, including cluster setup, networking, ingress, and security.
- Develop and maintain
CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO)
for automated deployments and release management.
- Implement
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using
Terraform
for provisioning cloud resources.
- Manage
cloud networking architecture
including VPCs/VNETs, routing, security groups, load balancers, and connectivity.
- Perform
server management tasks
including OS patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
- Work with application teams for deployment of applications (including Pega workloads) on Kubernetes.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of cloud-hosted applications.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to enforce best practices and standards.

- 10 years of experience in
Cloud Engineering and DevOps

- Strong experience with
AWS \& Azure cloud platforms

- Hands-on expertise in
Kubernetes (EKS \& AKS)
cluster design and administration.
- Proven experience in
migration of workloads from on-prem/VMs to Kubernetes

- Strong knowledge of
Terraform
for infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience in designing and implementing
CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO)

- Expertise in
cloud networking design and architecture
.
- Experience with
containerization (Docker)
and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of
release management and deployment strategies

- Experience in
server maintenance, OS patching, and vulnerability remediation
