**Job Title** AWS DevOps Engineer **Day Rate** £500 per day \- Inside IR35 **Location** Primarily Remote \- Occasional Leeds **Duration** ASAP \- 31 March 2027 **ROLE DESCRIPTION** Brio Digital are supporting a consultancy delivering a major NHS digital programme and are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join the team. The post holder will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud\-based solutions, working closely with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-availability applications and automated deployment pipelines in line with security and performance best practices. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** *Cloud Architecture \& Infrastructure* * Design and implement scalable cloud\-based solutions using AWS services * Deploy and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and associated tooling * Optimise cloud architecture for maximum efficiency, resilience, and performance * Build and maintain highly available, highly performant applications at scale *CI/CD \& Automation* * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment using GitHub Actions * Build and manage AWS Lambda functions and infrastructure\-as\-code using Terraform * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the cloud infrastructure *Security \& Governance* * Ensure security best practices are applied consistently across all cloud systems * Contribute to security reviews and remediation of identified risks *Collaboration \& Delivery* * Work within an Agile delivery environment, collaborating with cross\-functional teams * Define, design, and deliver new features in partnership with product and engineering teams * Strong Python development skills applied across automation, tooling, and backend services **DESIRABLE SKILLS** * Knowledge of Apigee API management * Knowledge of FHIR and HL7 healthcare data standards * React front\-end development experience Apply now or email dom@briodigital.io for more information.
