DevOps Engineer

**Introduction** The platform is undergoing sustained growth in both usage and technical complexity. To keep services reliable and future‑ready, the organization is strengthening its DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering capabilities. This role is ideal for engineers who are comfortable operating production systems at scale, proactively identifying weaknesses, and leading improvements rather than just responding to incidents. The team actively adopts SRE practices and explores the use of AI‑assisted tooling to improve efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities * Operate and maintain large‑scale, consumer‑facing systems built on container platforms * Monitor production environments, respond to alerts, and perform incident investigation and recovery * Troubleshoot system and application issues in collaboration with development teams * Manage lifecycle policies for operating systems and middleware (upgrades, EOL 대응) * Plan and execute non‑functional testing, including load, stress, and failure‑injection scenarios * Identify performance bottlenecks and implement reliability and scalability improvements * Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines * Create, document, and continuously refine operational procedures * Communicate system status, risks, and improvement proposals to technical and non‑technical stakeholders * Improve operational workflows through automation and the selective use of AI‑assisted development tools Work Environment * **Team composition:** Small, focused team with both leadership and hands‑on contributors * **Collaboration style:** Calm, supportive, and highly cooperative * **Devices:** Choice of Windows or macOS * **Primary technologies:** Cloud \& infrastructure: Private cloud, AWS, GCP * OS \& middleware: Linux distributions, Apache, Nginx * Datastores: MySQL/MariaDB (including managed variants), Redis, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch * Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (managed and self‑operated) * Delivery \& operations: Jenkins, Helm, Kustomize * Monitoring \& reliability: Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, APM tools * **Working language:** English (multinational environment) Required Qualifications * **5\+ years** of hands‑on experience operating Linux servers * (command‑line usage, user/permission management, middleware configuration, troubleshooting) * **5\+ years** supporting infrastructure for customer‑facing online services * Practical experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and/or Docker * Strong sense of responsibility for system stability and reliability Preferred Qualifications * Strong interest in AI‑assisted engineering tools and the ability to critically evaluate their output * Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) * Working knowledge of relational databases, including SQL operations and backup/restore concepts * Clear, structured communication skills for explaining issues, decisions, and trade‑offs * Experience collaborating closely with software engineers and business stakeholders
