Protaxhelp Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with at least one year of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong command of financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and forecasting. This role requires effective use of accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel, to manage financial data efficiently. A professional certification such as ACCA, CA Inter, ACMA, or an MBA in Finance is essential, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations. The candidate must be willing to work the specified hours from 5:30 pm to 2:30 am to meet business needs.

The Accountant contributes to preparing accurate financial statements and performing detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. The role demands strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate across departments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly those related to USA tax laws. While this position does not include team management Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes by ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Develop budgets and conduct financial forecasting to aid business planning and resource allocation.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for potential cost savings or revenue enhancement.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel to record, track, and reconcile financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, particularly those relevant to the United States.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and financial reviews to provide required documentation and explanations.
• Maintain detailed documentation for all financial processes and transactions for transparency and audit readiness.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Respond effectively to accounting queries from management and support internal control improvements where necessary.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other related financial submissions as required.
