Together, we’re building a better future—responsibly, inclusively, and with purpose* **About the Project** You will be part of our Pape North Connect project, playing a key role in driving its success and contributing to one of Canada’s most exciting infrastructure projects. **About the Job** We are hiring a Design Coordinator to step into an existing role, on our Technical team, on the Pape North Connect project. This position reports to the Cost Control lead. **What You Will Be Doing?** * Coordinate civil design activities across multidisciplinary teams for rail transit infrastructure projects * Suppor the review of design drawings, specifications, and deliverables * Support the development of presentation, design schedules and tracking tools to ensure milestones and deadlines are met. * Facilitate design review meetings and workshops, recording and tracking action subsequent to the meetings, to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. * Ensure design integration with other gruop within PTUS, including estimation, procurment, risk, CA. * Provide support to contractual aspect of the technical team, related but not limited to Staff management, Task management and design compliance. **What We Are Looking For?** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; P.E. or P.Eng license preferred. * 3\-5\+ years of experience in civil design coordination, with at least 2 years in civil infrastructure preferred. * Solid understanding of civil engineering design principles and rail infrastructure systems preferred. * Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and relevant design software. * Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations. * Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a strong problem\-solving mindset * Familiar in interpreting civil contract documents and effectively communicating requirements to project stakeholders. * Experienced in developing civil work plans aligned with project scope and schedule, ensuring timely and successful project execution. * Experience working on major design\-build or public sector rail projects. * Familiarity with BIM processes and digital project delivery platforms. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong documentation practices to facilitate project clarity and collaboration. **Compensation:** Successful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between **$100,000\-$125,000\.** The exact salary you will earn within this range is dependent on the specific project to which you are assigned. **Why Choose Webuild?** * **Competitive compensation \& retirement savings** – We offer a strong compensation package with an RRSP matching program (currently up to 4% for permanent employees). * **Iconic projects** – Be part of major linear infrastructure projects that shape Canada’s future. * **Day\-one coverage** – Comprehensive group benefits start on your first day (for permanent roles working 20\+ hours per week). * **Wellbeing support** – Access to our Employee and Family Assistance Program whenever you need it. * **Work\-life balance** – We actively encourage a healthy balance between work and personal life. * **Time to recharge** – Vacation entitlement: 3–5 weeks annually, based on experience and in accordance with company policy and applicable employment standards. * **Grow with us** – Tailored training and development opportunities to advance your career. * **Extra perks** – Enjoy discounts like 20% off at GoodLife Fitness (currently available to Ontario employees through our group benefits provider, subject to change). **Join the Webuild Life** *At Webuild, we believe diverse perspectives drive innovation, strengthen teams, and lead to better outcomes.
