Data Scientist – Phone Stack Company Overview Join Phone Stack, the AI call center platform powering AI callers for inbound and outbound communication at scale. Our voice agents handle goal\-driven campaigns — booking meetings, qualifying leads, collecting payments, routing calls, and triggering workflows — for enterprise teams across healthcare, financial services, real estate, retail, travel, automotive, telecom, and beyond. We rely on data to sharpen agent performance, optimize campaign outcomes, uncover unknowns and shape the product as we redefine what a contact center can be. Job Description We're hiring a **Data Scientist** to turn call data, conversation analytics, and campaign performance into actionable insight. You'll work across product, growth, and customer success to understand what drives outcomes — connection rates, qualified leads, booked meetings, collections recovered — and use that signal to improve our AI callers, our marketing, and the experience our customers deliver to their end users. This role is ideal for someone who's equal parts analyst, experimenter, and storyteller. Key Responsibilities * Analyze large volumes of call, conversation, and campaign data to surface trends and insights that shape product and go\-to\-market decisions. * Build models and analytics workflows that improve outbound campaign performance — connection rates, conversion rates, goal\-completion, and downstream outcomes like meetings booked or payments collected. * Develop dashboards and reports in tools like Power BI and Looker Studio so internal teams and customers can see KPIs, campaign results, and AI agent performance at a glance. * Run A/B and multivariate tests on scripts, voices, cadences, email follow\-ups, and campaign configurations to drive measurable lift. * Partner with marketing on SEM, SEO, and paid social analytics to improve acquisition and free\-trial\-to\-paid conversion. * Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to feed insights back into voice agent design, compliance guardrails, and campaign tooling. * Monitor digital marketing and product engagement metrics, recommending adjustments based on what the data shows. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Marketing, or similar). * Proven experience in data analysis and digital marketing, with strong command of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and GA4\. * Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker Studio) and programming languages (SQL, Python). * Experience with product analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms (Mixpanel, Adobe Campaign Standard, or similar). * Sharp analytical instincts and comfort working with messy, high\-volume data. * Excellent communication skills — able to translate findings into clear narratives for technical and non\-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills * Experience analyzing voice, conversational, or contact\-center data (call dispositions, transcripts, IVR/agent funnels). * Familiarity with B2B SaaS funnels, free\-trial conversion, and per\-usage pricing models. * Working knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling, especially for classification, attribution, or forecasting. * Experience with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads). * Awareness of compliance frameworks relevant to outbound communication (TCPA, DNC, consent tracking) — or eagerness to learn them.
