**Compensation: 200k \- 300k**
**Job Overview**
We are looking for a skilled
**Data Engineer**
with hands‑on experience in
**Azure, AWS, Spark, and Python**
to join our growing technology team in
**Lahore**
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing
**scalable data pipelines, processing large datasets, and optimizing big data workflows**
.
This role requires strong experience in
**cloud data engineering, data ingestion pipelines, and big data processing frameworks**
to support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes for structured and unstructured data
* Build and manage data ingestion pipelines and stream processing systems
* Develop scripts and applications using Python, Spark, and SQL
* Write and optimize complex SQL queries and shell scripts
* Work with big data querying tools and distributed data systems
* Implement and maintain cloud‑based data solutions on Azure or AWS
* Manage large datasets using Hadoop distributions and Azure Data Lake (HDFS)
* Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues with minimal supervision
* Ensure data reliability, scalability, and performance optimization
**Required Skills**
* Hands‑on experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms
* Strong programming skills in Python
* Experience working with Apache Spark and big data processing frameworks
* Advanced SQL and data query optimization skills
* Experience building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines
* Familiarity with NoSQL databases
* Experience with Hadoop distributions and Azure Data Lake (HDFS)
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 2–3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Data Development
* Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
* Certification or training in Data Lake HDFS, Big Data, or Cloud Data Engineering is a plus
