Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented professional for the role of
Data Analytics (Data Scientist)
. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and deploying advanced analytical and machine learning solutions to address complex business problems, particularly within the BFSI/insurance domain. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, statistical knowledge, and stakeholder communication capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and deploy
predictive and machine learning models
using structured and unstructured data sources.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Translate
business problems into analytical frameworks
and recommend appropriate modeling approaches.
- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques such as
clustering, logistic regression, random forest, gradient boosting, support vector machines, and deep learning
.
- Perform
data extraction, transformation, and data wrangling
to prepare datasets for modeling and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver analytical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Communicate analytical findings effectively through
presentations, dashboards, and reports
to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuously monitor and improve model performance and ensure robustness and scalability of solutions.
Technical Skills \& Experience
- Strong programming expertise in
Python
(mandatory), including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.
- Working knowledge of
R
is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with
machine learning model development and evaluation
.
- Experience working with
large datasets and Big Data technologies
is an asset.
- Strong foundation in
statistics, data modeling, and analytical problem-solving
.
