About The Role We are seeking a dedicated Telehealth Customer Service Representative to join our team in a remote capacity. This full-time position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States, providing vital support to patients navigating telehealth services and patient portals like MyChart. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of healthcare processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for assisting patients with login issues, troubleshooting telehealth appointments, and guiding them through the use of digital health tools. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless patient experience, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations, and supporting the overall mission of improving healthcare access and quality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • At least 1 year of healthcare customer service experience
  • Experience working in a call center or handling high volumes of inbound/outbound calls
  • Proficiency with computer applications and Windows PC systems
  • Ability to complete a four-week training program conducted during standard business hours
  • Flexibility to work various 8-hour shift schedules, including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated work area

Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of calls from patients or their representatives with professionalism and empathy
  • Provide login assistance and customer support for patients using the MyChart portal
  • Ask relevant questions and actively listen to identify specific issues or concerns
  • Document all interactions accurately within computer systems
  • Assist patients in navigating the MyChart portal and troubleshooting telehealth appointments
  • Support patients in setting up new accounts and resolving technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and data security regulations at all times
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while managing multiple applications and tasks
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with healthcare technology and processes
