About The Role We are seeking qualified contractors to fulfill the role of an
Customer Service Representative- OHI Call Center
. , who will play a critical role in ensuring accurate health insurance information is captured and maintained. This position involves proactive outreach to insurance carriers, meticulous data entry and adherence to quality standards. Your work directly supports compliance and operational efficiency, making you an essential part of the team.
This opportunity is open to individuals located in
San Antonio TX and surrounding areas.
Additionally, the role requires access to reliable internet and the ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office.
The project hours of operations will be
Monday - Friday
, in which candidate must be available to work an
8-hour shift between 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time. 3 days in office 2 days remote
Contractors will be engaged and paid by a third-party payroll supplier,
BCforward
, which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Make outbound/inbound calls to health insurance carriers to verify private health insurance details.
- Collect and confirm policy information through phone and web-based verification.
- Accurately enter insurance data into the Third Party Liability (TPL) database.
- Conduct special research and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
Deliverables or Project Scope
- Maintain a quality score of 98% or higher for all verification and data entry tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate updates to client records in the system.
- Complete verification processes within established turnaround times.
- Support compliance by observing professional standards of conduct.
Collaboration Tools or Platforms
- TPL Database for insurance data entry and tracking
- Health Insurance Carrier Web Portals for policy verification
- Internal Communication Tools (e.g., email, chat platforms) for team coordination
- Reporting Dashboards for monitoring quality and productivity metrics
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in Customer Service in a call center environment
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in data entry and navigation of web portals
- 1 year experience with Microsoft Office

- Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
