About The Role As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative working remotely from California, you will play a vital role in supporting consumers with their healthcare benefit inquiries. Your primary responsibility will be to engage thoughtfully with customers, providing accurate information, resolving questions, and guiding them through their healthcare options. Qualifications
- At least 6 months of customer service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong empathy, patience, and attentiveness to customer needs
- Proficiency with computer systems and Windows-based applications
- Distraction-free, designated home workspace
- A secure, high-speed wired internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from customers promptly and professionally
- Engage thoughtfully with customers to understand their healthcare benefit needs
- Conduct research across multiple systems to resolve inquiries efficiently
- Provide clear, accurate information to assist consumers in navigating healthcare options
- Manage a high volume of interactions while maintaining quality and professionalism
- Adhere to scheduled breaks and lunch periods to ensure operational consistency
- Document customer interactions accurately and thoroughly in the system
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service quality
