As a
**Customer Service Agent**
, you’ll be the friendly and knowledgeable voice of Kensington Mortgage Company (KMC). You’ll support customers over the phone with queries, complaints, and general mortgage guidance — from account opening to closure.
You’ll make a real difference in our customers’ lives by handling enquiries across payments, balances, redemptions and more, ensuring every interaction is seamless, accurate and supportive.
**What You’ll Do**
✔ Respond to inbound customer queries (payments, balances, interest rates, account updates, terms)
✔ Update and maintain customer records accurately
✔ Process account changes and action internal/external requests
✔ Prioritise workloads to meet service standards
✔ Follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
✔ Identify risks and support vulnerable customers appropriately
✔ Look for opportunities to improve processes and customer journeys
**What You’ll Bring**
✨ Experience in a telephony‑based role (financial services/mortgages preferred)
✨ Strong communication skills — calm, clear and empathetic
✨ Ability to thrive in a customer‑focused, target‑driven environment
✨ Confidence handling objections and problem‑solving on the spot
✨ Ability to navigate multiple systems while supporting customers
✨ Great attention to detail and accuracy
