About the Role
We are seeking a
Curriculum Developer (Freelancer)
to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on curriculum design, instructional planning, educational content development, assessment frameworks, and learning outcomes.
In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated educational content, curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials across K–12, higher education, and professional learning domains. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for curriculum development, adaptive learning, educational content creation, and personalized learning experiences.
This position is ideal for educators, instructional designers, curriculum specialists, academic consultants, and education professionals with experience in developing standards-aligned learning programs.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing real-world curriculum design and instructional development scenarios.
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, learning objectives, assessments, and teaching resources.
- Assess AI outputs for curriculum alignment, instructional quality, conceptual accuracy, and pedagogical effectiveness.
- STEM and Non-STEM Education
- Design and review curriculum aligned with
CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, State Boards, IB, IGCSE
, or higher education standards, as applicable.
- Evaluate AI-generated learning pathways, question banks, worksheets, rubrics, and formative and summative assessments.
- Ensure content aligns with Bloom's Taxonomy, competency-based education principles, and age-appropriate learning objectives.
- Identify factual inaccuracies, curriculum gaps, pedagogical weaknesses, and assessment quality issues in AI-generated outputs.
- Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in curriculum development and educational content generation.
- Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards.
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on education, learning design, and academic content.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum \& Instruction, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a relevant academic discipline.
- B.Ed., M.Ed., or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience
in curriculum development, instructional design, educational publishing, teaching, academic content development, or learning experience design.
- Experience creating lesson plans, teacher guides, student resources, assessments, rubrics, and instructional materials.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital learning platforms, and AI-assisted educational tools.
- Strong analytical thinking, instructional reasoning, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated educational content for curriculum alignment, conceptual accuracy, and instructional quality.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with EdTech companies, schools, universities, educational publishers, or curriculum consulting organizations.
- Experience designing bilingual or multilingual educational content.
- Experience developing STEM, humanities, commerce, or vocational education curriculum.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020, competency-based assessments, and digital education initiatives.
- Experience creating online learning modules, e-learning courses, or blended learning programs.
- Publications or contributions to textbooks, educational resources, or curriculum frameworks are highly desirable.
