Viking Nordic distributes Minimax\-Viking technologies across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland. It offers the region’s most complete fire‑protection portfolio, including water\-based systems, water mist, prefabricated piping, foam, gas suppression, and detection, and operates from its headquarters and distribution center in Sollentuna, supported by local sales, customer service, technical support, and logistics teams. **The Role:** The Country Manager Nordic holds full accountability for the regional business performance, including revenues, EBITDA, and cash flow in the Nordic region. As P\&L owner, you drive profitable growth across all product lines and oversee all the operations, including sales, customer service, logistics, and technical support. This role combines strategic leadership with hands\-on commercial execution. You are responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening market position, and ensuring operational excellence across all the functions. The Country Manager Nordic is responsible for defining and executing a robust growth strategy that combines ambitious targets with disciplined risk management, in line with EMEA policies. You act as a real entrepreneur, personally driving senior\-level relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders Beyond delivering profitable growth, the role requires building, developing, and aligning the local organization into a high\-performing, cohesive team positioned to operate at best\-in\-class industry standards. **Key responsibilities:** * Own and deliver sales growth, profitability, and cash flow performance for the Nordic region * Define and execute a clear market strategy to increase market share across all product linesand covered countries * Build strong, senior\-level relationships with key stakeholders: customers, consultants, end users, and industry influencers * Lead and develop a high\-performing local organization across sales, operations, and support functions * Ensure best\-in\-class customer service and operational efficiency * Adapt and fine\-tune Viking’s business model to local market dynamics * Provide clear market intelligence and strategic input to EMEA leadership * Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulations, and local laws **LEADERSHIP SCOPE:** You lead the Nordic organization, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Viking EMEA, and work closely with EMEA Sales, Operations, Finance, and other central functions such as HR, Compliance, Product Management, IT, Marketing, and Business Development. Travelling is required for this role approximately 50%, depending on business needs. You will operate with a high level of autonomy and decision\-making authority, consistent with Viking EMEA’s strategy and governance. **OBJECTIVES** * Accelerate market penetration and grow revenue and profitability across all product lines * Develop and execute a mid\- to long\-term regional growth plan, suggesting appropriate enablers and investments * Strengthen the organization to support scalable and sustainable growth * Drive commercial excellence across pricing, product mix, and channel strategy * Expand presence in both core and underdeveloped market segments * Establish Viking as a preferred partner through key account and specification strategies * Build a high\-performance, engaged, and entrepreneurial team **DUTIES:** **MANAGEMENT** * Lead the regional organization with a clear vision and strong execution discipline * Define and monitor sales, financial, and operational targets * Structure roles, responsibilities, and processes to maximize performance * Drive performance management, coaching, and talent development * Ensure alignment with EMEA strategy and cross\-functional collaboration * Monitor performance against budgets and take corrective actions when needed * Manage SG\&A and cost efficiency * Oversee contracts, framework agreements, and supplier relationships **SALES \& MARKET DEVELOPMENT** * Personally drive key commercial initiatives and major accounts * Optimize sales volume, margins, and product mix * Define and implement pricing and discount strategies * Segment customers and tailor sales approaches accordingly * Identify growth opportunities and develop business cases * Monitor competitors and strengthen competitive positioning * Lead key account planning and long\-term partnerships * Represent the company in industry associations and market forums * Drive marketing and specification initiatives targeting end\-users and influencers **EDUCATION \& EXPERIENCE:** * Business or technical Bachelor or Master’s Degree * Proven track record in a Country Manager / Managing Director / Division Manager / Sales Manager or similar P\&L responsible role * Experience in B2B technical industries (fire protection, HVAC, construction, or similar) * Strong commercial background with demonstrated success in sales growth and business development * Experience working with contractors and project\-based environments * Proven ability to negotiate with large customers or distributors * Experience in the Swedish market is essential \-other Nordic countries are a plus * Strong analytical and financial skills * Fluent Swedish and English **PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:** * Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and accountability * High energy, hands\-on, and execution\-driven * Strategic thinker with strong business acumen * Team builder and leader who develops people and organizations * Strong negotiation and influencing skills * Comfortable operating in a matrix organization * Results\-oriented with a strong customer focus **Our offer:** Stable company: for over **three decades** , our company has stood the test of time, weathering economic shifts, technological revolutions, and industry changes.
