Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned
**Planning Engineer**
with a strong background in civil engineering and commercial cost control. This role is responsible for developing, monitoring, and optimizing project schedules for diverse portfolios, including luxury villa constructions, fit\-outs, and large\-scale commercial developments. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between site operations and commercial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
·
**Project Controls:**
Develop and maintain baseline construction programs using
**Primavera P6**
; update project accomplishments and identify critical path shifts.
·
**Commercial Integration:**
Collaborate with the Commercial Head and Project Managers to prepare
**Extension of Time (EOT)**
claims and progress accomplishment reports.
·
**Reporting \& Analysis:**
Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, including productivity forecasts, equipment utilization tracking, and man\-hour analysis.
·
**Resource Management:**
Coordinate with site personnel for procurement planning and material requirements to ensure the schedule remains on track.
·
**Stakeholder Liaison:**
Act as the technical point of contact for clients, main contractors, and subcontractors regarding timeline reconciliations.
Candidate Specifications
·
**Education:**
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Board/Professional License preferred).
·
**Experience:**
Minimum 10–12 years of experience in the UAE construction market.

**Technical Skills:**
\* Expert\-level proficiency in
**Primavera (P6\)**
and
**MS Project**

o Advanced
**MS Excel**
skills (for KPI tracking and cost\-to\-complete reporting).

**Portfolio History:**
Proven track record in managing a mix of projects, from high\-end residential villas and landscaping to complex commercial fit\-outs or infrastructure.

**Soft Skills:**
Strong negotiation skills for subcontractor management and the professional stability to thrive in a long\-term, high\-visibility role.
