S core Nordic is a Stockholm\-based technology company building the next generation of smart city infrastructure. We transform urban mobility by delivering anonymous, 100% GDPR\-safe real\-time traffic and parking data services. By utilizing our proprietary 60 GHz mmWave radar hardware networks, we eliminate the need for cameras entirely—processing all heavy data and machine learning pipelines directly in the cloud.
We are now looking for a foundational
**Lead Machine Learning Engineer / Co\-Founder**
to take full ownership of our spatial intelligence engine and join our core team.
**The Role**
As our Lead ML Engineer, you will architect, build, and deploy the algorithms that transform raw, sparse sensor data into highly precise spatial insights. You will join as a crucial member of the founding team, working directly alongside our Hardware Lead and Software Track to shape our edge\-to\-cloud data architecture.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Architect and implement real\-time machine learning models tailored for sparse 3D point cloud data.
* Develop and optimize spatial clustering algorithms and multi\-target tracking systems to accurately classify vehicles and pedestrians.
* Design and deploy signal processing solutions and filters to eliminate outdoor environmental noise (clutter from rain, wind, and moving vegetation).
* Build robust, scalable cloud pipelines (AWS/GCP) to process real\-time streaming data vectors under tight latency constraints.
* Take full technical ownership of the ML architecture from prototype to production.
**What We Are Looking For**
* **Core Requirement:**
A strong background in 3D Spatial ML, Radar, LiDAR, or Sonar processing.
*(Please note: our pipeline is built entirely around radar data and point clouds, rather than traditional camera pixels or video streams).*
* Production\-level proficiency in Python and spatial processing libraries (e.g., Open3D, SciPy, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
* Proven experience with spatial clustering algorithms (e.g., DBSCAN) and tracking frameworks (e.g., Kalman filters).
* Practical experience with cloud architecture, data streaming, and database optimization (knowledge of Vector DBs is a major plus).
* An entrepreneurial, hands\-on co\-founder mindset with a passion for building scalable frameworks from the ground up.
