Role Description Software Developer / Senior Software Engineer (.NET Core \& Microservices)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirement analysis, technical design discussions, and solution reviews.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications using .NET technologies.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and product owners to deliver business requirements.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support UAT activities.
  • Participate in software release activities and production support.
  • Follow Agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical innovation.

Required Skills \& Experience

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:

+ .NET Core 6+ / .NET 8 + C# + ASP.NET Core Web API + SQL Server + Microservices Architecture + RESTful Services + Entity Framework Core

  • Experience with Azure Cloud Services, including:

+ Azure App Services + Azure Functions + Azure Storage + Azure Service Bus/Event Grid + Azure DevOps

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of messaging/event-driven platforms such as Kafka.
  • Experience with HTML5, XML, JSON, and modern web technologies.
  • Understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Services/BFSI domain.
  • Exposure to Java and Spring Boot-based applications.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native application development and distributed systems.

Educational Qualification

  • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
