Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled
**Cloud Infrastructure Operations Lead**
to manage and support enterprise\-scale cloud and on\-premises infrastructure environments for critical telecom and enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Linux systems administration, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, automation, Red Hat technologies, and infrastructure operations governance.
This role requires a technically strong
**L3 resource**
capable of leading infrastructure operations teams, driving operational excellence, managing critical production environments, ensuring high availability, handling production incidents, maintaining RCA documentation, and collaborating with cross\-functional teams on infrastructure modernization, migrations, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives.
**Responsibilities**
* Lead and manage Cloud Infrastructure Operations teams responsible for enterprise Linux systems, virtualization, cloud platforms, and datacenter operations.
* Oversee day\-to\-day infrastructure operations to ensure high availability, operational stability, SLA compliance, and minimal downtime for critical production environments.
* Perform L3 administration, troubleshooting, and operational support for
**RHEL 7/8/9**
environments across physical and virtual infrastructures.
* Manage Linux server deployments, upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management activities.
* Lead and execute
**RHEL in\-place upgrades and migrations**
using tools such as
**Leapp**
, including physical\-to\-virtual and VM\-to\-VM migrations.
* Administer and maintain
**Red Hat ecosystem technologies**
, including
**Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Insights/Hybrid Console, OpenShift (OCP), Red Hat Virtualization (RHV), and Red Hat Clustering (PCS/Pacemaker/GFS)**
.
* Manage enterprise virtualization platforms including
**VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and VROPs**
, handling snapshots, templates, storage zoning, resource provisioning, and optimization.
* Manage
**AWS cloud infrastructure**
, including
**EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB/ALB, Transit Gateway, Auto Scaling, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, Site\-to\-Site VPN, and IPSec tunneling**
.
* Design and implement infrastructure automation using
**Ansible Automation Platform**
and
**Bash scripting**
for provisioning, patching, compliance, configuration management, and deployment activities.
* Configure and maintain
**Ansible Controllers, Automation Hub, inventories, templates, projects, and playbooks**
.
* Administer monitoring, logging, and security tools including
**Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Nessus, Splunk, VMware Carbon Black, and Cisco AMP**
.
* Manage
**SAN/NAS/NFS storage**
, Huawei storage systems, and
**Commvault backup environments**
.
* Handle Linux identity and access management integrations including
**FreeIPA, Active Directory, SSH security, and enterprise authentication solutions**
.
* Configure and maintain
**Squid Proxy/Squid Guard**
,
**SELinux**

**IPTables**

**pfSense**
, and
**OPNSense**
firewall compliance measures.
* Manage datacenter operations, including
**hardware troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, HP iLO management, server provisioning, and infrastructure maintenance**

* Coordinate
**HOTO (Handover/Takeover)**
activities, governance, audits, production incidents, RCA submissions, vulnerability patching SLAs, and ITIL\-based change management processes.
* Collaborate with
**application, DevOps, cloud, development, and security teams**
for deployments, troubleshooting, migrations, and enhancements.
* Provide
**technical leadership, mentorship, task management, and operational guidance**
to infrastructure teams.
* Contribute to
**infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, automation, and operational improvement initiatives**
.
**Requirements**
* Strong expertise in
**Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)**
* Hands\-on experience with
**Red Hat Satellite and Red Hat ecosystem technologies**
* Expertise in
**VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and virtualization technologies**
* Experience managing
**AWS cloud infrastructure**
* Strong knowledge of
**Ansible Automation Platform, Bash scripting, and infrastructure automation**
* Experience with
**OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers, and Red Hat clustering (PCS/Pacemaker)**
* Hands\-on experience with
**Linux security, identity management, Squid Proxy/Squid Guard, SELinux, IPTables, pfSense, and OPNSense**
