**Job Title** : Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure / DevOps / AKS) **Job Type** : 1\- year contract (Maternity leave coverage) **Location** : 585 8 Ave SW, Calgary, AB (Onsite Mondays and Thursdays) **Start Date** : Mid\-May (ASAP) **Hours** : 40 hrs per week **Shift Schedule** : Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM **Overtime:** Occasional evening work may be required (with time off in lieu) **Rates** : $70/hr T4 or $85/hr Inc. **Interview Process** : 2 rounds **Overview** Our client is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Analyst to support and enhance a mission\-critical Azure cloud environment. This role requires hands\-on expertise in Kubernetes, Infrastructure\-as\-Code, and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a key role in maintaining production environments, optimizing performance, and enabling seamless deployments in a fast\-paced enterprise setting. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) in a production environment * Deploy and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes * Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps * Implement and manage Infrastructure\-as\-Code (IaC) using Terraform * Monitor system performance and reliability; troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues * Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency * Collaborate closely with development teams to support application deployments * Ensure high availability and operational excellence of cloud infrastructure **Required Qualifications** * 5–7\+ years of experience working in Azure cloud environments * Proven hands\-on production experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (mandatory) * Strong expertise with Kubernetes and Docker * Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) * Solid understanding of Azure networking, security, and RBAC * Hands\-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure\-as\-Code (IaC) * Strong troubleshooting and production support experience **Preferred / Nice\-to\-Have** * Experience in the oil \& gas industry * Familiarity with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux) * Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor * Experience with service mesh technologies * Exposure to multi\-cloud environments **Certifications (Preferred)** * Microsoft Azure: AZ\-104 or AZ\-305 * DevOps: AZ\-400 * Kubernetes: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
