Job Description
The
Cloud Engineer
will be responsible for
(Immediate or within 2 weeks to join)
- Designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure and services in accordance with best practices.
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as ARM templates or Terraform.
- Managing and supporting Azure PaaS services including databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL,etc.)
- Deploying and maintaining containerized workloads using Azure Container Apps or related services.
- Supporting Linux-based workloads, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Contributing to the implementation and governance of Azure Landing Zones and cloud security best practices.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud environments.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification.
- Strong understanding of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with container-based solutions (Docker/Kubernetes fundamentals).
- Understanding of Azure Landing Zone concepts, governance, and cloud security controls.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints) is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Candidate must be currently based in the UAE.
