Engineers at hytGenX carry meaningful ownership from day one and a defined path to greater scope and leadership responsibility as the organization scales. **Role Description** hytGenX is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its engineering team at the DHA Phase 5, Lahore office. This is a full\-time, onsite, senior\-level position and a foundational hire that will define the technical delivery standard of the engineering department being built. The Senior Cloud Engineer owns end\-to\-end technical delivery across cloud infrastructure, hosting operations, and DevOps for technology partners operating across the United States and globally. Responsibilities span environment architecture, full environment build, production support, and incident response. The role carries a defined growth trajectory toward a Cloud Solutions Architect function, with direct involvement in building and leading hytGenX's 24/7 global engineering department as the organization expands. Working hours are 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time, Monday through Friday, aligned to US Eastern Time partner operations. As the engineering department scales toward full 24/7 global operations coverage, shift structures will evolve accordingly. Senior engineers joining at this stage will hold a leadership position in designing the team architecture and operational model of the department. **Qualifications** * 5\+ years of senior\-level, hands\-on experience in cloud infrastructure and hosting engineering with demonstrated production ownership accountability * Expert\-level cPanel and WHM server administration (Hard Requirement: candidates without verifiable, hands\-on experience at this level will not be considered) * Strong AWS proficiency covering EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, Route 53, IAM, and CloudWatch (Hard Requirement: Azure proficiency expected within 90 days for candidates not currently holding it) * WHMCS proficiency covering billing configuration, provisioning automation, and client account management (Hard Requirement) * Production Kubernetes and Docker experience covering cluster management, deployment lifecycle operations, and container\-level troubleshooting * CI/CD pipeline experience on GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins in a live production delivery environment * Strong Linux system administration covering Bash scripting, service and process management, log analysis, and performance tuning * Grafana Labs and Prometheus experience covering alert rule design, SLA dashboard creation, and PagerDuty escalation integration * MySQL and PostgreSQL administration proficiency. MongoDB, Redis, and Odoo experience is a strong advantage * Web security fundamentals covering WAF rule management, firewall configuration, DDoS mitigation, and SSL/TLS lifecycle management * Ability to produce precise technical documentation and client handoff materials in professional English * Systems\-level thinking, strong ownership instincts, and a career orientation toward cloud architecture and senior technical leadership * BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field **Note on Core Requirements** cPanel/WHM, AWS, and WHMCS are designated as hard requirements because technology partners operating globally depend on these capabilities in production environments from day one of engagement. hytGenX holds its engineering standards to the level that responsibility demands, and candidates are encouraged to apply only if they meet these requirements in full.
