Cloud Engineer

Join our team to help build, maintain, and secure our cloud environments, driving both innovation and efficiency. **Position Summary:** As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. This role requires collaboration with cross\-functional teams, deploying cloud\-based applications, automating processes, and optimizing cloud resources to meet our organization's evolving needs. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for efficient resource management and repeatable deployments. * Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to streamline operations and enhance performance. * Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure system reliability. * Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud\-native application development and deployment. * Manage cloud storage, databases, and network configurations for optimal performance and cost\-effectiveness. * Enforce security best practices, including identity and access management, data encryption, and compliance controls. * Document cloud architecture, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and process continuity. * Stay updated with the latest cloud trends, tools, and best practices to ensure optimal use of technology. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Minimum of 3 years of experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). * Strong understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, cloud architecture, and cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Azure VMs, Kubernetes). * Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation tools. * Hands\-on experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation. * Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack). * Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Azure Administrator). * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross\-functional teams. **Preferred Skills:** * Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines. * Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards. * Familiarity with hybrid or multi\-cloud environments. * Ability to manage cloud costs and optimize resource allocation.
