Client Accountant

**🚨NEW OPPORTUNITY‼️** **Role: Client Accountant** **Location: Central London** Proper Recruitment are working with a busy and established residential estate agency who are looking for a Client Accountant to support the financial operations of their lettings portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone organised, detail\-focused and experienced within property accounting to join a fast\-paced and professional team. **Responsibilities:** * Managing all client money transactions in line with industry regulations and internal controls * Allocating tenant rent payments, monitoring arrears and ensuring timely landlord payments * Processing contractor and supplier invoices and preparing payment runs * Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple client accounts * Producing landlord and tenant statements and responding to financial queries * Recording and tracking tenancy deposits and supporting compliance processes * Preparing internal financial reports for property managers and senior management * Working closely with the lettings team to resolve account queries efficiently * Maintaining accurate records within Reapit or Veco systems **Requirements:** * Minimum 1 year experience in residential lettings accounting or a similar client accounting role * Strong understanding of client money processes and lettings legislation * Confident using Reapit or Veco * Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail * Strong communication and problem\-solving skills * Ability to work effectively within a fast\-paced environment * ARLA Propertymark knowledge beneficial but not essential **Salary:** * £32,000 – £35,000 per annum **Tenure:** * Full\-Time \| Hybrid If you are an experienced Client Accountant looking to join a reputable residential estate agency, we would love to hear from you.
