**Clerk - Windsor, Ontario
Position Type: Full-Time, Non - Exempt
Replacement
Compensation: $41,600 - 49,350**
About The Position This position is part of an administrative team that supports merchandising, origination, logistics and execution at the Windsor Crush Plants and Export Grain Terminal.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and maintain positive business relationships colleagues and be responsive to their needs
- Effectively use communication channels for proper coordination within the office \& other locations
- Respond to customer inquiries of a moderately complex nature via telephone and through written/electronic correspondence
- Managing records, processing settlements, and maintaining electronic and paper customer files, including updating customer profiles concerning pricing and special instructions, and prepare and submit daily customs and regulatory reports
- Drives strategic goals of self in accordance with goals of upper management
- Research problems, analyze results, and organize tasks
- Proactively participate in cross-training assignments within Customer Service team
- Is willing to work outside normal business hours including weekends
- Ability to work in an open office environment with long periods of sitting and large amounts of time in front of a computer
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Demonstrated capacity to excel within high risk, fast-paced work environment.
- Proven ability to assess problems and exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
- Proven ability to manage effectively within a team-based work environment.
- Computer competent, with demonstrated ability in the use of spreadsheet, database, and word processing software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. As well, proficiency in clerical skills including keyboarding, data entry, filing, scanning, faxing, and photo copying.

Education or Work Experience
- Minimum requirements: High School Degree, post-secondary diploma, or an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree is considered an asset.
- 2+ years of experience
Health and Safety
- Follow ADM health and safety standard and report all unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor
- Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
- Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
