Civil Engineer

Our client, a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm based in Durham Region (Oshawa), is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to lead their Site Plan team. This is a permanent, full\-time, hybrid role, offering base renumeration in the range of $110\-140k per year, depending on experience, plus a competitive total rewards package. Responsibilities: * Leading and managing a site plan team for various civil engineering projects related to Site Plan Applications, building permits and Site Alteration Permits. * Overseeing the preparation and review of grading plans, servicing plans and stormwater management reports ensuring compliance with municipal and regulatory requirements. * Coordinating with clients, contractors, and municipal officials to facilitate project approvals and permits. * Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. * Preparing and assisting with the preparation of reports, proposals, and project updates to stakeholders. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. * Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site plan design and project management. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software. * Strong understanding of municipal and provincial regulations related to site development.
