Civil Engineer

**About the Role:** CES Group, Inc. is looking for an experienced, licensed Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This position offers the chance to work on meaningful projects that support rural communities across Kansas and Nebraska. You’ll collaborate with a talented team, manage client relationships, and help us deliver practical, high\-quality engineering solutions. Remote work is available, relocation is not required. Relocation is preferred but for the right individual, remote work is a possibility. **What We’re Looking For:** * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Approximately 5 years of experience in municipal water, sewer, and/or roadway engineering * Experience identifying and managing state and federally funded municipal water, sewer, and roadway projects. * Familiarity with computer based design and office software * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Detail\-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn * Strong problem\-solving and organizational skills **Your Responsibilities:** * Provide practical, timely engineering solutions that earn client trust * Collaborate with team members across disciplines * Maintain awareness of project budgets and timelines * Deliver designs that meet client needs and exceed expectations * Explore new technologies and approaches to improve outcomes * Identify opportunities for company growth and client success * Lead efforts to secure and manage state and federally funded municipal water, sewer and roadway projects, including compliance and reporting requirements. * Support CES Group’s mission to strengthen rural communities * Ability to travel as needed **Education \& Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from a 4\-year accredited University. * PE License in Kansas, Missouri, and/or Nebraska (or ability to complete or to obtain via comity within 12 months.) * 4 to 6 years of experience in one or more of the listed Civil Engineering disciplines. * Experience in preparation of Engineering Reports for State and Federal Funding Agencies. * Design Software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Arc Info (GIS) software or similar software; complete familiarity with Microsoft products **Salary \& Benefits:** * Competitive salary based on experience * Health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off * Equipment support package and performance bonuses **How to Apply:** Send your resume, three professional references, and a cover letter to: Rob Peschel, *President* **Email:** rpeschel@cesgroup.biz **Address:** 605 Broadway Street, Marysville, KS 66508 **About CES Group:** CES Group, Inc. is a 30\+ year\-old design firm serving rural Kansas and Nebraska.
