**Job Description**
We are looking for a Civil Engineering Trainee to join our Municipal \& Transportation Design team in one of our GTA offices.
As an Engineering Trainee, you will be completing assignments on wide diversity of Civil Engineering projects, including civil, municipal, infrastructure, transit, transportation, healthcare, energy \& resources, water \& wastewater.
You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and one of our GTA offices. This position is open for
**Mississauga, Toronto, Bowmanville, and Markham.**
**Primary Responsibilities**
* Working on a team with other project engineers and designers on the EA, preliminary, detailed design, and construction support.
* Working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers and other professional staff on project coordination tasks including preparing engineering drawings and documents, reports and memos preparation, calculations, project scheduling, proposal preparation, client interaction, construction inspection, and quality control and assurance Bachelor’s degree in Civil or other applicable Engineering discipline.
* Design and drafting for the preparation of civil works drawings under direction from Project Engineer or Project Manager.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or other applicable Engineering discipline
* Minimum of two years experience
* Registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (EIT) or ability to obtain
* Excellent communications skills in English (both spoken and written)
* Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office software
* Knowledge in AutoCAD/Civil3D, or Microstation/OpenRoads is an asset
* A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
