**MHG Hotel Division**
The MHG Hotel Division currently operates four boutique hotel properties on PEI including the award\-winning Mysa Nordic Spa in St. Peters Bay, the 5\-Star Great George Hotel and The Hotel on Pownal in downtown Charlottetown, and The Loyalist Country Inn in Summerside.
**Chief Hotel Officer**
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Hotel Officer (CHO) is a key member of the MHG Senior Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing the overall performance, operations, and strategic direction of the Hotel Division.
This role provides leadership to the management teams across all hotel properties, driving operational excellence, financial performance, and the consistent delivery of the world\-class guest experiences our properties are known for. The CHO will lead, coach, and mentor leaders across the division, fostering a culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality leader with a genuine passion for the industry and a strong ability to champion and embed MHG’s core values across all locations. **As Chief Hotel Officer, You Will**
* Partner with hotel property leaders to drive strong performance across all areas of operations
* Provide clear guidance, support, and direction to hotel teams, championing MHG’s culture and core values
* Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities for each property, including the development and implementation of programs that support company and hotel goals
* Conduct regular property visits and guest experience analysis to ensure alignment with service excellence and brand standards
* Communicate property\-specific goals and objectives, ensuring alignment and accountability across management teams
* Collaborate with hotel leaders to review, enhance, and evolve training programs and succession plans for front\-line team members
* Address employee relations with professionalism and consistency in partnership with General Managers
* Support the ongoing professional development of both management and front\-line teams
* Provide oversight and direction on staffing and labour management, ensuring alignment with company policies and operational needs
* Review and approve annual business plans and financial budgets for each hotel property
* Actively contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, participating in company meetings, training sessions, conferences, and annual planning activities

**What You Bring**
* Bachelor’s degree in business management, hospitality or a diploma in hospitality/tourism management
* 5\+ years experience in Hotel Management at the General Manager level or above
* Demonstrated experience managing boutique style properties will be considered an asset
* Previous Sales \& Marketing experience in the accommodations industry
* Ability to analyze financial data in order to make strategic decisions, previous accounting or financial budgeting experience is required
* Must have a valid drivers license and ability to travel across multiple locations (on PEI)
