**Chat Support Specialist – Remote (Evenings/Weekends)** **Location:** UK Wide (Remote / Home Based) **Salary:** £11 – £14 per hour (£21,450 – £27,300 per annum equivalent, based on a 37\.5\-hour week) **Job Type:** Part\-Time (Evenings \& Weekends) **Reporting To:** Customer Support Team Lead (Client Side) **About the Opportunity** Vita CV is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a UK consumer business that requires reliable chat support cover during evenings and weekends. This is a part\-time, fully remote role suited to candidates who can maintain a professional standard of service outside standard business hours. **About the Role** The Chat Support Specialist will handle evening and weekend customer chat enquiries, ensuring out\-of\-hours customers receive timely, helpful, and professional responses. **Key Responsibilities** * Respond to inbound chat enquiries during agreed evening and weekend shifts * Resolve straightforward customer issues and escalate complex cases for daytime follow\-up * Maintain accurate notes and case records within the support system * Follow agreed out\-of\-hours response procedures and service standards * Hand over outstanding cases to the daytime team with clear context * Identify and flag recurring out\-of\-hours issues to support leads * Maintain a calm, professional tone throughout every interaction **What We're Looking For** * Strong written communication skills in English * Availability to work consistent evening and weekend shifts * Previous experience in customer service or chat\-based support * Comfortable using chat platforms and CRM systems * Good problem\-solving skills and ability to work independently * Reliable and self\-motivated when working outside standard hours * A stable home internet connection and a quiet workspace **Desirable (Nice to Have)** * Experience working in evening or weekend support rotations * Familiarity with consumer support tools such as Zendesk or Intercom **What This Role Offers** * Fully remote, UK\-wide working arrangement * Consistent evening and weekend shift patterns * Suited to candidates who prefer non\-standard hours * A clearly structured role with defined service expectations **How to Apply** If this role aligns with your experience and working style, please submit your CV through this LinkedIn listing.
