Job Description
This is a remote position. Join The Pines Resort Bass Lake as a Chat Support Agent and become an essential part of our hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests seeking assistance, offering prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable support via our online chat platform. Your contributions will help create memorable experiences and uphold our commitment to exceptional guest service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds, resolve inquiries efficiently, and support the smooth operation of our resort’s customer service efforts. Key Objectives * Provide timely and accurate responses to guest inquiries through live chat. * Assist guests with reservations, service information, and general questions. * Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by delivering professional and courteous support. * Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve guest concerns effectively. Responsibilities * Respond promptly to incoming chat requests, maintaining a positive and helpful tone. * Assist guests with booking processes, modifications, cancellations, and special requests. * Provide detailed information about resort amenities, policies, and local attractions. * Document guest interactions accurately and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments. * Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of resort services, promotions, and events. * Work collaboratively with front desk, reservations, and management teams to ensure seamless guest experiences. * Identify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and contribute feedback to improve service delivery. Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or customer service is a plus. * Previous experience in customer support, preferably in the hospitality industry. * Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail. * Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously. * Proficient computer skills, comfortable using chat platforms and reservation systems. * Strong problem\-solving abilities and a calm, patient demeanor. * Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed.
