We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Canada Sales Manager to lead the growth of Boutinot wines across the Canadian market. This is a hands\-on commercial role suited to someone deeply embedded in the Canadian liquor industry, with strong relationships across provincial liquor boards, agents, and the Licensee community. The successful candidate will drive both strategy and execution, delivering sales growth, building brands, and identifying new opportunities nationwide.
**What will the role involve?**
Primary Duties – 75% time dedicated in the role
* Sales targets, marketing planning, brand building on core brands\- retail and Licensee channels. Brand\-building activities on core brands in every region should be the role’s main focus and tasks
o working with provincial agents on annual sales targets
o Bring to markets the ideas and Boutinot head office marketing tools to support launches, sales targets, and growth strategies
o Pool of marketing dollars: build marketing budgets to support sales targets on core brands
* General business development:
o Frequent and organized time discussing and planning the annual marketing programming, core brands / all tiers of wines\- per province, per agent
o Identify Boutinot NPD annually that could be key to Canada introduction launch and growth \- present the brand, develop marketing schematics/support and sales targets, present to the provincial agents to challenge them to achieve new listings and significant measurable growth
* Execution of marketing, sales targets, and NPD launches
o Time spent to lead and support in key markets\- training and working with sales teams, regular presenting to liquor boards, Licensee and National chain accounts
Secondary Duties – 25% time dedicated in the role
* Working with European\-based colleagues to support back\-end logistics for Canada productions and shipping\- consistent and regular ongoing forecasting / CA inventory management, Labels, cartons, Purchase Order support, etc., etc.
* Tender planning, pricing, submissions, samples, follow\-ups
* Boutinot winery and product proficiency \- a very deep understanding of all products and NPD, where our products are successful around the world\- this is essential for presenting new brands with the right sales plans to Canada markets
**What we're looking for**
* Experience in managing the Canadian market coast to coast
* In\-market liquor industry licensee and retail experience
* Confidence in presenting to liquor boards and licensees
* Relationships with liquor board monopoly buyers, current agents and licensee community
* Marketing background and Experience
* Finance comprehension for building annual sales and marketing budgets
* Organized, proactive, and results\-driven
* Strong communicator and confident presenter
* Energetic, positive, and relationship\-focused
* Independent, with the ability to collaborate across international teams
* Excellent wine knowledge, passion for driving wine sales
* Additional languages
