**POSITION \| Jordan** F\&B Butler \| Cross Department Service **LOCATION** Amman Jordan The client will provide a work vis a and relocation if not local **PURPOSE OF THE POSITION** The Butler executes a range of F\&B services and provides an exceptional experience to the family and guests. The butler keeps order in the dining areas and butler pantry, adhering to strict food and safety policies and procedures. The Butler knows when to be present and when to blend into the background. The Butler is always acutely aware of their environment, discretely scanning the room to see where additional service can be applied. **Qualifications** * Diploma or higher education in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Management highly regarded * Certification from a recognised Butler School highly regarded **Experience** * 3\+ years' experience working as a butler in a 5\* establishment * Experienced in working with VVIP clients with a passion for providing personalised luxury service **Skills / Knowledge** * Knowledge in all Arts of Service, and a genuine passion for delivering service excellence * Charming, cheerful and observant. Knows when to be present, when to laugh and engage in conversation with clients, and when to be quiet and blend into the environment. * Advanced food /culinary knowledge \- able to understand and explain menus and dishes and prepare the dining area accordingly. * Knowledge in beverages \- coffees, teas, juices, mocktails * Working knowledge for operating a butler's pantry. * Caring for valuable service items * Exceptional teamwork, communication and collaboration skills * In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, cleanliness and hygiene * Logistics, gift coordination, and non traditional butler duties. * Maintain confidentiality and offer complete discretion. * Impeccably well\-groomed and high levels of personal hygiene. **START DATE** ASAP **SALARY** $USD 1,000 (note tax is payable in Jordan) **Benefits** Shared Accommodation provided by company Health Insurance 30 days' vacation per annum (taken as 60 days at end of contract) Flights 2 years contract Annual Bonus Please note: Kindly check your junk or spam mail folders after applying, as our response to your application may occasionally be diverted there.
